Abstract: The Crab Pulsar has been detected at energies up to 1 : 5 TeV. Motivated by these new findings we consider the role of the magnetocentrifugal acceleration and show that the mechanism becomes extremely efficient close to the light cylinder area, where the electrons might reach Lorentz factors of the order of 5 x 10(6) leading to the observed pulsed very high energy emission. We estimate the corresponding spectral features of radiation and show that they are in a good agreement with observations.
