 Abstract: Spin polarization of the resonant Auger electrons is measured following the decay of Kr 3d-15p states resonantly excited by circularly polarized light. A large polarization transfer is found in particular for all strong transitions to the 4s-14p-15p and 4s-25p states. The experimental results are in excellent agreement with calculations carried out by means of the multiconfiguration Dirac–Fock method.
