Abstract: Due to the experimental proof of neutrinooscillations we know today that neutrinos have a non-zero mass. Still we do not know the exact values. In this work we investigated the possibility to determine the neutrino masses via a timeof- ight measurement of supernova neutrinos. We concentrated on two signals with a short characteristic time namely the early neutrino burst and the case of a cutoff in the neutrinosignal due to a collapse of the protoneutron star into a black hole. Both should be accompanied by a strong gravitational wave signal. Making some simplifying assumptions and concidering only vacuum neutrino oscillations we found that the modern and future neutrino detectors Super-Kamiokande, Hyper-Kamiokande and JUNO could investigate masses down to 2:1 eV for SK and HK and 2:4 eV for JUNO for a typical SN at a distance of 10 kpc. In the lucky case of a black hole formation we found that SK could determine masses down to 0:83 eV, HK down to 0:47 eV and JUNO down to 0:65 eV for the same distance. In our work we tried to stay as conservative as possible.
