 Abstract: The key focus of this work is the analysis of highly non-trivial blue phases of chiral liquid crystals via molecular dynamics simulations. As a result the dependencies of structure and thermodynamic phases on pressure, temperature and the chirality are presented. Furthermore, crystallographic symmetries are identified with the visualization of disclination lines. In addition, we drive the system out of equilibrium with an added constant hydrodynamic flow.
