 Abstract: Offenkettige ungesättigte Systeme, bei denen sich die Konjugation über alle Atome erstreckt, werden systematisch zusammengestellt. Einige solche in α- und ω-Stellung aromatisch substituierte Systeme werden dargestellt und ihre langwelligste Bande im UV-Spektrum nach einer modifizierten ω-Technik berechnet.
 Abstract: Open chain unsaturated systems where the conjugation extends over all the atoms of the chain have been systematically classified. Some such systems with aromatic substituents in α- and ω-position have been synthesized. Their longest wavelength transition in the UV-spectrum is calculated by a modified ω-technique.
