Abstract
The ♂ of the following 9 species of European Psychodidae are described: Neoarisemus ibericus n. sp., Mormia caspersi n. sp., M. vaillanti n. sp., Panimerus falcariformis n. sp., Clytocerus tetracorniculatus n. sp., Berdeniella carinthiaca n. sp., B. globulosa n. sp., B. sieberti n. sp. and B. ordesica n. sp., the latter with egg and larval instar I-IV. Finally the larval instar IV of B. illiesi WAGNER 1973 is described for the first time and is compared with the larval stage of the two other known species of freyi-group. The following characters appear to be distinctive of this group: reduction of the length of larval setae and elongation of the 9. tergum of ♂.
