 Abstract: The resistivity of homogeneous [(La1−zYz)1−xCex]Al2 alloys was measured. From the quadratic temperature dependence of the incremental resistivity observed at low temperatures an enhancement of the Kondo temperature by two orders of magnitude is inferred. A magnetic-nonmagnetic transition was observed in dilute (Y1−xCex)Al2 alloys (x ⋍ 0.07).
