Abstract: Using inelastic neutron-scattering, we determined the phonon density-of-states (PDOS) of the heavy-fermion compound CeCu2Si2 and its reference system LaCu2Si2 at 300 and 8 K. The spectra turned out to be very alike for both compounds and did not reveal indications for strong coupling between the phonons and the Ce 4f-electrons.
