 Abstract: One main issue in MRI are inh o- mogeneities in the magnetic field, temporal drifts or imperfections in the gradients. Magne t- ic field probes can be used for measuring (and eventually compensating for) these effects . Here, we present a susceptibility matched transmit/receive NMR field probe that is built based on the work of Barmet et al. (1). Its characteristics are then examined in order to explore possible future applications .
