Abstract: Holey films or nets may be produced from an emulsion of glycerol/water in a solution of a mixture of Formvar® and Triafol® in dichloromethane, spread on mica. After being floated off the mica support the films may be treated with ethyl acetate to transform 'pseudoholes' into holes or nets.
