 Abstract: For general varifolds in Euclidean space, we prove an isoperimetric
inequality, adapt the basic theory of generalised weakly differentiable
functions, and obtain several Sobolev type inequalities. We thereby intend to
facilitate the use of varifold theory in the study of diffused surfaces.
