 Abstract: Aus D-Ribose, Anilin und HCN erhält man N-Phenyl-D-altrosaminsäure-nitril und N-Phenyl-D-allosaminsäure-nitril, deren katalytische Halbhydrierung in salzsaurer Lösung zu D-Altrosamin · HCl (II) und zu kristallisiertem α-D-Allosamin · HCl (IV) führt. Die N-Acetyl-Verbindungen beider Aminozucker wurden als β-Formen kristallisiert erhalten.
