 Abstract: It is a big challenge to produce as homogeneous as possible B1+ field with single channel antenna in traveling wave configuration. For that purpose, we proposed a new and very simple antenna concept. Antenna is entirely made of copper and without any lumped elements. By small changes in geometry different RF excitation patterns can be produced. We presented design that produced as homogeneous as possible B1+ field in sagittal, coronal and transversal planes. The second proposed design produced B1+field pattern in lower brain and neck region.
