 Abstract: ERETIC is a calibration method independent of the disease state, automatically compensates for changes in coil loading conditions and hence requires only a one time calibration against a high precision phantom. However, when ERETIC is used for the quantification of MRSI images, the combined effect of B1+ inhomogeneity across the volume of interest and slice profiles of the selective RF pulses used for localization need to be corrected for. In this work two approaches of this correction are presented and validated against internal water referencing.
