Zusammenfassung: This talk provided a description of a semi-automated imaging and tracing pipeline which allows complete 3D reconstruction of dendrite and axon morphology of individual neurons labeled in vivo and an image processing pipeline that allows automated detecting of neuron somata within large brain volumes. In addition, an interactive, visual-computing tool that allows assembling average 3D network models and a concept that was developed to investigate signal flow within average network models using Monte Carlo simulations were discussed.
