 Abstract: Patterned polymer brushes can be produced on the micrometer and nanometer scale by a combination of self‐assembly and lithography. Self‐assembled monolayers of biphenyl thiols were structured by chemical lithography. The patterns were amplified by surface‐initiated polymerization.
