 Abstract: Not a single MR marker has been identified to predict patient outcome in spinal cord injury (SCI) rehabilitation. Therefore, we applied magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) to examine metabolite concentration in the pons around 10 weeks after injury and identify group differences in complete and incomplete SCI at the time of the MRS acquisition.
