 要旨: A detailed magnetoresistance (MR) study of bulk and microflake samples of highly oriented pyrolytic graphite in a broad temperature 240≳T≳1K and magnetic field μ0H≤62T range, reveals the existence of three independent phenomena, the contributions of which are observed at different temperatures and fields. The identification of the three phenomena was possible by studying the MR of samples with thickness of 25 μm to 23 nm. At temperatures T≳100K the MR is mainly given by the semiconducting stacking order regions. At lower temperatures the contribution of the internal interfaces of graphite to its MR is clearly observable. These interfaces are the origin of the commonly observed electronic phase transitions at fields 35≲μ0H≲55T at T≲10 K as well as a background MR in the whole field range that resembles the MR measured in granular superconductors.
