Abstract: This thesis is concerned with finding integer solutions to certain Diophantine equations. In doing so, we will use a variety of techniques. Unfortunately, we are not able to mention all of them - there are many techniques in solving Diophantine equations! Combining analytic methods with classic and modern algebraic approaches proves fruitful in a number of cases.
