 Abstract: The stabilization of p‐quinodimethanes can be achieved by complexation. According to an X‐ray structure analysis the two Fe(CO)3 units in 1, RCH3, are located on different sides of the slightly puckered six membered ring. The ligand in 1 formally contains two trimethylenemethane moieties.
