Zusammenfassung: Oncolytic virotherapy (OV) is a promising treatment for high mortality cancers.1Non-invasive monitoring of OV is essential for optimizing the clinical outcome and providing an improved understanding of the interactions between the virus and its tumor-host. Chemical exchange saturation transfer (CEST) MRI is a molecular imaging technique that may shed new light on OV, as it is capable of detecting pro-tein concentration and pH changes. However, clinical translation of CEST methods has been hindered by the qualitative nature of the image contrast and the long image acquisition times.
