Abstract: The main objective of the research is the analysis of statistical and spectral methods for the description of turbulent flows. Since most astrophysical plasmas are collisionless on kinetic scales, plasma processes in the Solar system can be considered as a test basis for other magnetohydrodynamic mediums. In this case, measurements with high sampling rate allow us to study plasma characteristics in a wide range of scales. To analyze turbulent processes in magnetohydrodynamic flows, we used the measurements of fluxgate magnetometers from four spacecraft of the Cluster II space mission with a sampling frequency of 22.5 Hz in the region of the current disruption in the tail of the Earth's magnetosphere (three events of 2014-2015). In particular, we conduct the analysis of the evolution of the probability distribution function of the magnetic field fluctuations at different scales, the analysis of the power spectral density (Fourier analysis) and the analysis of the wavelet power spectrum (Wavelet analysis). The features of turbulent processes determined to depend on the scale, and they are in a good agreement between the results obtained via different methods.
