Abstract: Direct Dark Matter Search of the CRESST experiment is limited by the sensitivity of the detectors, the capability to identify and reject background and by the limited amount of statistics. In this thesis, these competing aspects are combined in newly developed and experimentally tested detector concepts including the first phonon-light detector with a true 4Pi veto system for external background sources.
