 Abstract: By energy resolved measurements of field electron emission, the gap of superconducting 2223 BiSrCaCuO was determined for the a-b direction of single-crystal specimens. The value of 2Δ(78 K)≈50 meV is in agreement with results of other tunneling techniques.
