 Abstract: The formation of paramagnetic appearances is described by means of classical quantum theoretical conceptions. As cause for the formation spectra, cristal field spreading and hyperfine spreading are stressed. As an example, the radiobiologica measurements of Gordy, Ard, Shields, Ehrenberg and Zimmer on irradiated amino acids and fiber proteins are reviewed. A description of a microwave spectrometer with transit resonater is included.
