Abstract: We investigate susceptibility tensor imaging (STI) reconstruction by separating the diamagnetic from paramagnetic susceptibility tensors using the recently introduced DECOMPOSE method. The resulting para-/dia-magnetic susceptibility tensors produce spatially more coherent eigenvectors than conventional STI and it shows the potential to reduce number of orientations needed for STI.
