 Abstract: Analysis of the data with the help of statistical methods is a key element of modern scientific research. The first part of this thesis presents the development of two algorithms for the Bayesian evidence estimation and parallelization of Markov Chain Monte Carlo methods. The second part of this thesis presents a detailed analysis of the incoming proton bunch parameters in the AWAKE experiment at CERN using advanced statistical algorithms.
