Abstract: J. E. Hirsch and F. Marsiglio in their publication, Phys. Rev. B 103, 134505 (2021), assert that hydrogen-rich compounds do not exhibit superconductivity. Their argument hinges on the absence of broadening of superconducting transitions in applied magnetic fields. We argue, that this assertion is incorrect, as it relies on a flawed analysis and a selective and inaccurate report of published data, where data supporting the authors' perspective are highlighted while data demonstrating clear broadening are disregarded.
