Abstract:
Presentation slides for the named presentation at the "NFDI@MPG" Workshop at Ringberg Castle on April 20th 2023. Abstract: The NFDI4BIOIMAGE consortium was approved for funding in November 2022 and starts in March 2023. Led by Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf it brings together researchers, data stewards, and research software engineers from various German Universities and Research Institutes. The Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology has Participant status. NFDI4BIOIMAGE is focused on the development, dissemination, and implementation of standards for data management, annotation, and processing of microscopy and bioimage analysis data. In this contribution I will outline the concept and work plan of NFDI4BIOIMAGE and delineate opportunities for collaborations and networking with the Max Planck Society in general and with the Max Planck BioImaging Core Unit Network in particular.
