Abstract:
The two agar-producing red algae, Gracilaria chilensis C. J. Bird, McLachlan & E. C. Oliveira and Gracilaria conferta (Schousboe ex Montagne) Montagne, responded with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) release when agar oligosaccharides were added to the medium.
