Abstract: Future space-based gravitational wave detectors may have a frequency range extending down to 10-4Hz. Many interesting sources are likely to be detected in this range: the formation of large-mass black holes, close binary systems of compact objects and of normal stars, and a cosmological background of radiation that may contain the signature of the earliest directly observed events in the Universe.
