Abstract: STEM can make a big difference. Conventionally HRTEM imaging is used to obtain the particle size distribution (PSD) of supported catalysts, ubiquitously in the catalysis community. Now we found the analogous HAADF-STEM reveals more accurate PSD, which is crucial for understanding the involved catalysis mechanism.
