Abstract: Active and selective Pd2Ga intermetallics supported on carbon nanotubes are synthesized and applied for alkyne hydrogenation. Intermetallics in nanoscale are necessary to achieve high mass activity, whereas ordered structures within intermetallics form high barriers for subsurface chemistry and reduce large active ensembles of Pd.
