Abstract
An annoted check list of type material of Plecoptera deposited in the Museum of Zoology in Lausanne is proposed. It includes 216 species and subspecies belonging to 12 families. Most of these taxa have been described by prof. Jacques Aubert. 25 lectotypes are designated for the following taxa: Isoperla acicularis cantabrica Aub., I. a. guadarramica Aub., I. pallida Aub., Chloroperla baetica Aub., Taeniopteryx kuethreiberi Aub., Brachyptera algirica Aub., Nemoura algirica Aub., N. macrura Aub., N. chiffensis Aub., Leuctra andalusiaca Aub., L. castillana Aub., L. cazorlana Aub., L. espanoli Aub., L. estrela Aub., L. franzi Aub., L. gallica Aub., L. hiberiaca Aub., L. hispanica Aub., L. illiesi Aub., L. ligurica Aub., L. lusitanica Aub., L. madritensis Aub., L. rauscheri Aub., L. vaillanti Aub., L. wilmae Illies. One neotype (Chloroperla lepineyi Navas) has to be considered as probably lost. A list of other species described by Aubert, but not housed in the Museum of Zoology, complements the catalogue.
