Abstract
At the 8th International Plecoptera Symposium in Nara, 1980, Y. Isobe (Nara) showed that, contrary to current belief, more than one species of Oyamia exists in Japan. Types in European Museums were examined to facilitate descriptions by the Japanese colleagues.
