Abstract
The importance and condition of the personal collection of Plecoptera of F. Klapalek, now in the National Museum in Prague-Kunratice, are briefly described. The Nemouridae named by Klapalek are discussed. Lectotypes are designated for Nemoura fulviceps (= N. navasi Aubert, syn. nov.), N. bolivari (synonym of N. lacustris E. Pictet), N. subtilis, N. brevilobata comb. nov. (Protonemura brevilobata), Nemurella pictetii, Amphinemura flavicollis (= Nemoura nigritula Navas, syn. nov.) and Indonemura jacobsoni; several of these species are redescribed. The type of N. securigera is not available. N. uncinata Despax (= N. fulviceps auct., not of Klapalek) is reinstalled as a valid species.
