Abstract
In 1976 and 1977 investigations were carried out on the systematics, ecology and production biology of the Psychodidae (Diptera) of a small woodland stream near Bonn. By means of a greenhouse emergence trap a total of 44 spp was found, 2 of them new to science. Autecological and phenological features as well as year to year differences in species composition, individual numbers and emergence biomass of the Psychodidae involved are discussed with special regard to the nutritional conditions. The biocoenosis of the Annaberger Bach is compared with those of other Central European brooks whose Psychodid communities are already known.
