Abstract
Abstract Records of 53 species of psychodids, their ecology, biomass of adults and species composition in several springs and brooks are presented for thr years 1970-1976. Phenological aspects, especially flight periods and sex-ratio, are discussed. The effects of water chemistry, current-velocity and water temperature on the species composition are shown. The fauna of 4 springs and 4 brooks are compared. Reasons for changes in abundance along Btb and from year to year at single stations in Btb, such as temperature, water-level and changes in substrate patterns are discussed.
