Abstract
This paper outlines the research interests of the Medical Diversity Working Group
within the Department of Socio-Cultural Diversity at the Max Planck Institute for
the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity, Göttingen. The working group brings
together scholars working on medical knowledge, therapeutic practices and diversification.
While the group is in its early stages of development, we have identified three
fields of inquiry that we outline in this paper.
