Abstract
Early next year two new carbon dioxide spotters, the Orbiting Carbon Observatory and the Greenhouse Gas Observing Satellite, will be launched. The information they collect could fill important gaps in our understanding of the global carbon cycle, but only if time and money allow. [References: 7]
