Limtanakool, N., Ummels, R., & De Stigter, S. (2008). Eco-tax implementation: Environmental Benefits without Competitive Disadvantages? In Blue skies, or, Storm clouds?: essays on public policy air transport (pp. 79-86). Netherlands: ScienceGuide.

要旨
Limtanakool and her colleagues discuss the implementation of a tax on tickets as an environmental measure. The authors mention that introduction of an eco-tax scheme in the Netherlands tends to deliver only small environmental benefits while it may threaten the competitive positions of the Dutch aviation industry. Furthermore, in this essay some alternatives are suggested like fleet modifications and the pan-European air traffic management program.
