Abstract
Fifty series of sections through the frog‘s brain, four series of the newt‘s brain and two series of the eel‘s brain were searched for asymmetries in the epithalamic region. Marked differences between the right and left habenular nuclei were found in all cases, in the sense that the left one had a more lobate structure than its right counterpart.
