Zusammenfassung

The glycosyl donors 2,3,4-tri-0-benzyl fucosyl fluoride and -trichloroacetimidate are activated under neutral conditions in 1M solutions of LiClO4 in CH2Cl2 or ether to react with mono- and disaccharides to give fucosyl glycosides in high yields and with high stereoselectivity.
