Abstract

The authors have investigated the crystal structure of LaGaNi. Investigation by the Laue method revealed the presence of monoclinic symmetry (2/M), and by the rotation method followed by refinement on an automatic diffractometer the unit cell parameters were found to be a=6.679(3), b=6.097(2), c=6.341(1), gamma=106deg.35.
