Abstract
The lithium ion conductor with the highest known conductivity at room temperature is the title compound. A further unique feature is its surprising stability toward lithium. These properties can be understood in terms of the crystal structure. The compound shows promise as a solid electrolyte for lithium batteries having high energy density.
