Abstract
CeCu2Si2 single crystals (Tc : 0.63−0.68 K) have been studied utilizing calorimetric, dilatometric and ultrasound experiments. The strain dependencies of Tc along the a- and c- axis have opposite sign and indicate that superconductivity is favoured upon compensation of the local 4f moments. According to the c11(T,B) behaviour, Tc appears limited by an additional, presumably antiferromagnetic, instability of the Fermi liquid.
