Abstract
Substitution of Th replacing Ce in Ce1-xThxCu2.2Si2 results in pronounced pair breaking, as usually observed for non-magnetic impurities. In contrast to La- and Y-doping, Th-substitution leaves the coherent normal Fermi liquid state almost unaffected, up to a concentration as high as 6 at%. The “critical” Th-concentration (Tc→0) is extrapolated to be approximately 20 at%.
