Abstract
We present a detailed investigation of the magnetoresistance in UPd2Al3. Above T(N), we observe a minimum in DELTArho/rho which we attribute to Kondo and crystal-field effects. At and below T(N), DELTAroh/rho is very complex. A kink in the field dependence of the transverse magnetoresistance with field and current in the basal plane suggest a reordering of the magnetic moments within this plane.
