Abstract
Pressure-type point contacts between the antiferromagnetically ordering CeCu 2Ge 2 (T N=4.2 K) and simple metals have been investigated. We found a reduced Neel temperature (<3.5 K) at the contact. A number of contacts showed superconducting anomalies (excess current) below 0.7 K and with critical magnetic fields around 2 T. Both, the reduced T N and the appearance of superconducting anomalies result from the high pressure at the contact.
