Abstract
We report measurement of the ab-plane resistivity in Y-doped Bi2Sr2CaCu2Oy crystals, A trend of resistivity saturation is clearly observed for samples with high Y concentrations. This trend is not affected by annealing treatment. We analysed the data in terms of Drude model. The metallic resistivity beyond the Ioffe-Regel limit suggests a ''small'' Fermi surface in the heavily Y-doped samples.
